Neoclassical
Neoclassical Art is an art form of reflecting back to the glory of ancient Greece and Rome. It was a reaction to the vibrant Rococo style and the emotional appealing Baroque style. The rise of Neoclassical Art was caused by a revival of interest in classical thought, which played importance in the American and French revolutions. Fueled by the ideas of harmony, simplicity, and proportion, by the new science of archaeology, many works reflect Greek and Roman styles.
